Description

A healthy and refreshing drink made with kale, apples, and mint.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh kale, washed and stems removed
  • 2 medium Fuji apples, cored and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup filtered water (adjust for thickness)

Instructions

  1. Wash the kale, apples, and mint under cold water. Chop the apples into smaller pieces.
  2. In a blender, combine kale, chopped apples, mint leaves, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
  3. For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a jug.
  4. Adjust consistency by adding more water if needed and blend again briefly.
  5. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to enhance freshness before serving.
  6. Serve chilled over ice and garnish with mint leaves or apple slices.

Notes

  • This drink is best served cold for maximum refreshment.
  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding a little honey or agave syrup if desired.
